ABOUT ME
I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, specializing in CBT for children, adolescents, and young adults. I completed my MSc in Psychological Therapies from the University of Edinburgh, where I received comprehensive training in evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Throughout my training, I accumulated over 200 hours of direct client contact under the supervision of licensed clinical psychologists. I have experience working with a wide range of mental health presentations including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, panic disorder, phobias, OCD, eating disorders (including ARFID), and trauma. I am also trained to work with neurodivergent individuals, including those with ASD, Autism, ADHD, and Dyslexia. My therapeutic approach is collaborative and client-centered, working not only with individuals but also with the people and systems around them—including parents, caregivers, GPs, and schools—to support meaningful and lasting change. With younger clients, I integrate play therapy techniques to facilitate cognitive and behavioural development, improve emotional literacy, and strengthen emotional regulation skills. My training meets the standards for Level 2 BABCP (British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies) accreditation, the recognized accreditation body for CBT therapists in the UK and Europe. I hold BPS graduate membership and am committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based therapeutic support tailored to each client's unique needs.
